This letterpress stationery set was designed for an event about paper and printing techniques in Sofia. Inkpression gave me a carte blanche for the designs so I decided to explore typography as the core theme. The card features a quote from the book “Typographie” by Emil Ruder, while the bookmarks are an exploration of typographic symbols. The “@” symbol apparently first appeared on a Bulgarian document dating all the way back to 1345. The pilcrow (paragraph symbol) uses a blind letterpress impression, which is a nod to the fact that this symbol is everywhere in the books we read, while at the same time we never actually see it.
