By combining biology with machine learning, they design proteins and the cells that produce them. The end result are biomaterials with superior properties to our current petroleum-based alternatives. 

I worked with Cambrium to define their Brand DNA and develop a visual identity system together with a detailed brandbook which was applied over a wide range of collateral. These bring the device’s main features to life using an ironic, over-the-top visual language inspired by retrofuturistic aesthetics. Apart from serving as branded content, the animations were used in an interactive launch event called the Sci-Fi SuperMall, where together with Boiler Room we transformed a warehouse into a full-on was designed for an event about paper and printing techniques in Sofia. Inkpression gave me a carte blanche for the designs so I decided to explore typography as the core theme.&nbsp;The card features a quote from the book “Typographie” by Emil Ruder, while the bookmarks are an exploration of typographic symbols. The “@” symbol apparently first appeared on a Bulgarian document dating all the way back to 1345. Founder Helin Honung’s heritage guides and informs her work, ultimately allowing her to set an example in redefining the concept of beauty in the fashion and media industry. The inspiration behind the visual identity comes from the concept of third space theory which puts a strong emphasis on cultural hybridity.
